Good Morning Sparks of the Divine Flame – Cathedrals of the Incarnation

I received the words from a Shalom Mountain friend, whose heart is filled with compassion and wisdom. She is preparing for a pilgrimage to the holy lands. For me, words often have the power to invite, evoke, empower, transform. There is something about these words from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin that captures my attention and touches something deep within me. I invite you to read the words again, slowly, prayerfully, and aloud to yourself.
Think about your relationships, the people you connect with, hang out with. Are there some with whom you experience this “longing for communion with others who have a large vision?” Are there some with whom you experience the “immense fulfillment of the friendship between those engaged in furthering the evolution of consciousness?” Do you have a longing for communion with others, for friendships with intimacy, vitality, depth and purpose?
If your answer is “No” then that is fine.
If your answer is “Yes” then what is your plan?
How can you respond to this longing that is crying out from deep within you?
Life is too brief, too precious a gift, too sacred to be squandered.
